Question for a dealer or someone with past experience...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the BX1500 model is on its way out the door (if not now it will be someday). If I want to add an FEL to my tractor after it goes out of production, how long will Kubota continue making/selling the LA181? Should I jump on it now or is it safe to wait awhile? I don't want to get stuck trying to find one on ebay.

Long after they're out of production, ans 'Bota has sold all of it's loaders, you will still have your choice of aftermarket loaders for your BX.
In fact the term "aftermarket" is sort of misleading since nearly all 'factory' loaders are built by one of the 'aftermarket' manufacturers anyways.
Best of luck. ....

The 181 is already on it's way out with dealer availablity the only option. I prefer the tractor manufacturer for loader options as they are a better fit then most after market attachments. ....

I can still get factory loaders for tractors that are 12-15 years old. Considering the popularity of the BX series I don't think it will be a problem.
As for the LA181 being "on the way out", thats simply not correct. They still have tractors in stock, infact I have two more with mowers and loaders comming yet. ....
