My JD 4410 has been flawless, until a couple of weeks ago. Now when I push the switch for 2 wheel drive, it blows a fuse. Tractor dies and lose all guages. I can replace the fuse and put in 4x4 and runs normal? Switch to 2 wheel drive, blows fuse. I think its the fuse for "switched circuits". Any help would be greatly appriciated!

It sounds like there must be a dead short in the solenoid that pulls the link out for 2 wheel drive. I am not sure where the solenoid is but you should be able to test for its resistance and short to the main ground. ....

Check your 4WD solenoid under the tractor under the operator's station area to see if any of the wires have snagged on brush or other obstacles. They are notorious for becoming snagged in heavy brush. Are you getting any malfunction codes? ....
