I order a Service Manual for my YM1700 .A Friend of mind order one for his 1700 from some one else. We don't have the same book.What is the right one.

There's not enough info there to answer your question. Do the books have pictures that you could match up with your tractors to see if one is way off? Are these factory manuals or aftermarket? ....

The manuals is for a 1700 his and mind.one is YM195 the other is YM240.Will both work or is one the wrong one. ....

?The YM195 & YM240 are basically the same tractor witha different engine bore. The YM1700 is the US version without a waterpump ....
