Crooked loader brackets on a new l4330

Hello all,

I just recently took delivery of a new L4330 HST with a BH 90 on the back. When it was delivered the young man tried to show me how to take off and put on the loader which he assured me was a simple job. It came off no problem, but getting it back on was a fiasco. The back end of the loader that "hooks" over the solid pin on the mount would not seat on one side. It just kept riding over the top of the pin. After much work we finally got it to seat. We then tried it on the other side of the driveway (crowned the other way), but still had the same issue. After he left I pulled it into the garage to try it on concrete and still had the same issue. I looked at the loader from the front and realized that something looked crooked. I got out a tape and measured from the floor to the mounting pin on the tractor bracket and low and behold there is an 1 1/4" of difference in the height of the two pins. I had the service guy come out today and he looked it all over, measured numerous things, and came to the conclusion that one of the brackets must have been welded crooked and he is going to take it to the shop to replace the bracket.

My question is has any one ever seen such a problem are there any other things I should be concerned about or look for on the tractor to make sure there right the first time?

OK here is a dumb question but the rear tires had the same air pressure and one tire was not bigger or smaller than the other? The reason i ask this is because I have seen way more tires miss matched (even if they have the same size on the side wall) than miss welded frames/ mounts. ....

Yes a good call indeed, but there are other just as, or even more likely culprits.

For instance, a slight slope in the surface the CUT was sitting on, even one so slight as to be overlooked, can over the distance between the rear axle (the only rigid one) and the bottom of the bucket (the other solid surface) could cause enough change in the alignment to create this situation.

The slope built into the concrete floor of my shop to run water to the drain is enough to do that in my shop.
