I just bought and installed skid shoes for my Woods RB60 blade. Does anyone have a picture of the Woods brand shoes installed that they can send me. For some reason something does not look right with my set up. There is very little height adjustment. It looks like they are supposed to work better when that blade is reversed and being pushed.

I have the RB72 blade and the skid shoes they install with the top of the towers closer to the blade center line. I spoke to Woods Tech support to get the correct installation orientation.
To adjust the height you use the shims and washers, do you have those?
After looking at the pix link Mark put up, scratch my info as the RB72 is a totally different set up. ....

I have Woods skid shoes on my 5' King Kutter (see my photos). There are no shims for angle adjustment, only holes for height changes. The top link can be used to change the blade and corresponding skid shoe angle depending on whether you are pulling or pushing. You should be able to find a "happy medium" that works in either direction. ....

Dennis, I see the different set-up in the pics. I too probably have the same set-up as you since I have the RB series of blade, not the RBC "estate" series. They have a "mushroom" type shoe mounted on a rod that fits into a bracket that has a grease fitting on it. Using the spacers and the washers included raises or lowers the shoes. I've found that when I reverse the blade as I do for pushing snow and adjusting the top link, I get about 1/4" to 1/2" of space between the cutting edge and the concrete. I suppose they will work. I guess I thought I was going to get something like what was on the RBC series pictures. I just wondered if the dealer gave me the wrong thing? ....

Looks like we both have the same mushroom style shoe then. I just got mine as well, seems like you need to lengthen the upper control arm to set the blade back so the the skids will hit before the blades when pulling forward. Looks like I will have to fiddle with the top link to get them to hit the drive first before the blade, I was using the blade today to grade some dirt so I had the top link short so I did not have to mess with the shoes. Looks like I should be able to adjust the top link so it is where I want it, hopefully.
The shoe is real heavy duty, I plan on using it for slushy snow only, I have a blower, and will set the 3ph initially so that the shoes will only hit high spots in the drive until I see how the shoes work (ie do they gouge the driveway).
