What does a M1292 Quick Hitch Pin & Snap Pin assy. fit or used for. According to the instructions in the box, the pin set is for a FEL quick release pin type set up. They did not say what FEL and no part # was on the box.

Chief, as an educated guess based on the similar setup of our L-series quick attach conversions I would have to say it is the pin set for an M series conversion.

Let me explian here though what I mean by conversion, 'Bota has they own proprietary setup which is basically an adapter which goes on the loader arms where the bucket normally mounts, it has 'standard' pin holes and spacing. The trick is the outboard side, the top has a pair of 'saddles' (one each side) and the bottom has two holes, all 4 of which correspond to the factory pins on the regular bucket.

With this kit you can make a regular bucket a quick-detatch unit with just the addition of the adapter plate. The retail is about $275 but allows you to use your existing bucket. It mounts to the arms using the pins which normally hold the bucket on, the aasy. you mentioned is the 4 new pins required to afix the bucket to the adapter I believe. I'm guessing 4 pins, 1" diameter by about 4" long with cross holes in one end and two of them have handles, two not, also 2 snap clips and two bolts with lock nuts.

Best of luck. ....

I was going through my "stuff" in a futile attempt to try and clean out the basement and found a set of two in the box. Oh well, maybe I can trade my friend Jim for something with them. He has a B 2410. Probably won't work on anything for that. Thanks Murf! ....

Measure length and diameter, they'll probably make dandy hitch pins.

Either that or sell them on eBay, it's amazing what people will buy there.

Best of luck. ....
