Does anyone out there have a Cab on their Kubota BX?
Blowing snow again today and any wind causes a cold face wash! Just came in to warm up again.
Curtis looks real $nice$, are there any other options? I would love some detailed pictures of the Cabs on the JD 2210's, if you have any please e-mail them to me (Wildman1 - busguy??). Curtis website shows little or nothing on detail.

I looked at an installed BX Curtis cab a couple of years ago and it looked like a well crafted outfit. ....

DR: Do you remember, was the ROPS removed? Was it inside the cab or outside? Really interested. ....

You should also look at Sims Cabs. They look like nice units and a little more reasonably priced. ....

I am sure the ROPS was inside, and I can't imagine anyone removing a ROPS in this legal climate.
Make sure you price out a defroster with the package or your will spend more time scraping glass than you will spend blowing snow.
I haven't seen a Sims cab, but I have read good reports on them. ....

There's a guy near here who makes and repairs a LOT of boat tops. He also does tops for anything else you can imagine, Jeeps, Hot Dog carts, anything, including CUT's.
I went past his place the other day (sans camera, of course) and he had a little Kioti in the driveway with a spiffy new top on it. It looked like he had made a canvas top with solid Lexan or Plexiglass windows that used the ROPS as the rear half of it's frame. There was also a pair of 'legs' that went up from the FEL mount and a couple of spreader bars to connect them to the ROPS. It looked like there was only a zippered door on the left side (as you would sit in the operator's seat).
I wanted to stop, the missus didn't, it was gone when I came back past later.
I'm sure it would be a LOT cheaper than a cab of any form based on the price for a boat top.
Best of luck. ....

If you make solid windows they have to be Lexan. Plexiglass will break from the engine fibration and will shatter. ....

The ROPS stay up and is outside the cab for the folding models. I believe Curtis makes a model for fixed ROPS that is inside the cab. ....
