I'm specifically looking for a mister kwshumm who can answer all my questions regarding swapping over my R-4's for the Ag Tire R-1's. I will need the wheel and tire sizes for the front and rear sets. Your 4310 really looks boss and I'm sure it handles much better especially on the hillsides. Thanks Jim

Thanks, I really like the upgraded R1s set at the wide position. These were the standard R1 upgrade sizes for the 4310, 12.4x24 6 ply on the rear and 7.00x16 6 ply on the front. The rear rims are the 8 position 24" rims set at the widest position. They definitely improved traction and stability in our clay soil. ....

John Deere parts shows two separate part numbers for the R-1 application. Could you provide the part number of your front wheels? Thanks Again ....

I have a JD4410 ehydro that I ordered with the larger 12.4 x 24 R1 tires. I noticed that JD does not list this size tire as an option on the new 3000 series CUTS. Does anyone know why? I really like this size on my tractor and if I decided to upgrade to a 3720 I would like to get this size R1 as well. ....

Onehorse, it looks like they're 16x6 wheels. They are mounted in the wide position with the stamping inside so it's not real easy to see tonight. The numbers I can make out are some date codes and TITAN 16 6LB and DOT 16x6LBT. I didn't see a JD part number stamped on them and it's not surprising if they're made by TITAN. If you need more I can start up the tractor tomorrow so I can turn the wheels and get a better look. Hope this helps. ....

KWSHUMM Thanks for the information, this is exactly what I was looking for....John Deere shows a 16x6 and a 16x6LB so it is definitely the LB that I want. Sorry to get you outside in the dark with a flashlite but this info will get me on my way. I purchased my 4300 back in 2000 and now am approaching the 1000hrs mark with virtually no problems other than the traction problem with R-4's. It's been a very reliable unit and would purchase one again...no regrets. Loads on stone and dirt building and landscaping two completely different house sites with barns. Thankyou very much again. I was very happy to help. I hope JD leaves some money in your wallet by the time you're done. ....
