What should I look for? Is this a good idea? Getting a real good price with all the attachments.

The 500 hour scheduled maintenance is major. I'd ask the owner for both the tractor manual and the engine manual, then look up the maintenance list for both. Once you're familiar with what was required at 500 hours, ask for proof that the owner actually performed it.
I would personally NOT buy a tractor that has gone 200 hours past an uncompleted 500 hour maintenance.

Q: What should I look for?
A: IMHO, another tractor not Chinese.
My buddy used to sell the same tractor that Northern rebadges. A total POS. This was back in '03. The fit and finish--if I could be so generous, was appalling. They're overly loud exhaustwise, poorly made casting and machine work. The sheetnetal hood and grille on the ones I looked at looked like they were formed with a ball peen hammer over a rock--seriously! The supposed ROPS was a joke how it was made and attached. ....
