Happy Turkey day to All!
Funny thing is that at the Customer site I have been working I must have seen at least 3 clusters of 25 wild turkeys.
Perhaps it was their thanksgiving day parade!

Thanksgiving here was about a month and a half ago. The date reflects a short growing season I guess.
This summer a wild turkey took to living in an Ottawa suburb. Newspapers had a good time taking pictures of the turkey dinging around in peoples' back yards. It was probably scouting for the flock that heard about the new turkey hunting season here and was checking the nearest municipality that had by-laws against discharging firearms. I hear the wild ones are smarter then the ones I remember. Taking up living in the city wouldn't be my idea of a good time and I hope the turkey has something to be thankful for.
Yep, Happy Thanksgiving even if it's already been for us.

I heard that turkey was going to run for office there Tom! Should fit in well with the rest of our politicians. Was reading an article in the D&C here yesterday, I could not believe it was printed. The PETA spokesman was suggesting a thanksgiving dinner of soy with a puffy cream center garnished with wheat gluten, yummie!! He said that most people could purchase a turkey or two live and keep them as pets to show their support for his organization and the rights of our brother turkeys. As for me, I have allowed one to move into the small confined space above the burner on my Holland Grill where he will be protected from the cold winter winds. I am going to light his furnace shortly!
Happpy Thanksgiving to all! ....
