Hey guys,
Need some advice. Just bought a B6200 4WD. It came with front & rear agricultural tires. I want a set of turf tires for this tractor and I found a cherry set from a B7200. Accordidng to my manual, B6200 turf tires should be rear 29X12-15 and fronts 20.5X8.00-10.The tires for sale are rear 31x13.5-15 and fronts 20.5x8-10.These tires are listed in the manual for the B7200, but they are not listed for the B6200, although I see no reason they will not work. Please advise.

I would advise caution here. The front tires appear to be the exact requirement but the rears could be a problem.
The difference between a 29 inch tire and a 31 inch tire translates into more than 6 inches of rolling circumference, meaning the rear tires will be pushing the front tires(running faster).
Four wheel drive tractors are set up so that the front tires run a little faster (in relative speeds) than the rears. This keeps the pressure on the correct place on the front ring and pinion gears and reduces wear and improves handling and steering.
Your options: If these wheels are a smoking deal, get them and then go to a discount tire store and replace the rears with 29 inch tall radial tire. Or....
Wrap a tape measure around the tires you have now and replace them with the same circumference turf or turf like tires from the tire store and use your existing rims.
A 10 or 12 inch front turf tire sells for about $60.00 and a wise shopper can usually find a light truck MS radial for the rear end for $90.00 or less.

Mark is right...caution should be had when attempting to match different sized tires to a 4wd unit. The problem is not so much to operate the tractor as a normal day to day function in 2wd, rather in 4wd. In 2wd, the front drive and the rear drive are physically / mechanically disconnected from one another. As you engage the 4wd, you have now linked both drive systems together...if mismatched, you'll chew up if not break off the gears in your drive line as your fronts will be forced to rotate at a higher speed than the matching design warrants.
If you are operating the unit in 4wd, in constant slippery/greasy conditions, the slip factor will keep your drive line from damage in case of mismatch tire size...just remember to disengage back to 2wd when getting back to dry conditions or asphalt to avoid damage.
I put a set of R4's on my B5200,same sizing as that of a B6200. The fronts went from 20.5 turf to 23 R4. The rears went from 29x12x15 to 10.00x16.5, translates to about 30.75"
dia. on the R4's. It is critical to maintain a size within a design window, or catastrophy will be had.

The problem becomes even worse if you are doing loader work in 4wd since the extra weight means extra traction, and less possiblity for slippage to take up the difference in drive ratios.

Would it be correct to say that the replacement tires that you found are Bar Turfs on the rear? If so than the tires might well fit. Kubota did match those sizes together on sone of there later models that I found. I still would move with cantion as I didn't say for yors they would be an exact fit. Try them on and check for scuff and good luck! ....
