Turn off message notification for a thread

Does anyone know how to turn off the email notification for a thread? When I first got on this board, I would check "please notify me" of a response when posting a message. I don't need that email notification any more, since I'm on here regularly anyway. How do I go back and shut of the email notices for a given thread?

Well, actually you cannot. This is a by the message thread feature that you make your declaration once. In theory as the messages get older you should not get bothered by many old threads being revisited, I hope! ;>) ....
