What does anyone have to say about filling the front tires of a 4WD compact with calcium chloride solution instead of hanging weights off the front of the tractor. Idea no good because of effect on steering I suppose?

I have had calcium chloride/water in my fronts for years without any adverse effects. As long as they are filled to 90% you won't have a balance problem in road gear. ....

The Kubota manual says not to fill the front tires because of increased shock loads to the drive train. I can't see why any other brand would be different. ....
