I am looking for a 4x4 wheeled tractor in the 3500 to 4000 lb. weight range. Will use it for moving dirt and clearing brush mostly. Any suggestions?

Four thousand pounds is a pretty big compact. Most people looking for tractors think in terms or power. I'm curious if the weight range has to do with tailoring the tractor. Or course, power and weight tend to go together so I guess it doesn't make much difference which one you start with. ....

You might be better looking for an old backhoe or one of the contractor series Kubota or the new Deere. Most of the compacts FEL are not designed for constant earth moving. Thae 4800 Deere and the larger TC fall into the weight cat but clearing is not what they are primarily designed for. ....
