Can anyone provide some information on PTO powered log splitters? I have a JD770 and would only use it 1x or 2x a year so I'm not looking for anything expensive.

R-U going to use a PTO pump for a hyd splitter? Or are you looking at a screwtype splitter?
At the moment my custom built splitter is run on the power beyond circuit. I have a 4 cyl diesel and am looking for the right price on a big 22+ gallon pump.
But am willing to part with the BIG diesel welder for the right price... ....

Here is a link to the log splitter I bought. Several big box farm supply stores carry this brand. The quality is good and the price is right. ....
