Hi having just purchased a 1995 Honda 6522 with cutting deck and not having a clue about them I thought I'd best ask for some help and advice of which any would be greatly appreciated. Firstly its a bit strange at going into gear as once selected it somtimes dosent move and none of the hydraulics seem to be working correctly which lead me to think it may be low on hydraulic and transition fluid but working out how to check or top it up is a mystery???? I have searched everywhere and can't find or work it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍

Honda entered the market and never really got established. Some of the attachments like the front end snowblower were from the same outfit that makes the Kubota blowers.

My neighbor had the Honda 6522 in the 2WD version. He sold it only because he needed more traction on hills in a 4WD version. He wound up getting a Kubota BX 4WD for the traction.

I think Honda has not made them for at least 10 years.

Try searching for the 6522 in the search box up on the right top corner or click on the link :

I'm not sure about your specific problem, but you need to get the service manual for the 6522. If you ever have someone work on it, they will need it.
I have a 6522 I bought used back in 2001. I really haven't had any major problems with it, but have had to change out some electrical parts.
A good source for the manual and parts is:
Brian Baker
Formula H Motorworks in Middletown, New York
845-344-5511
He specializes on Honda tractors and helped me a lot.

Another place is Boats.net.
They have parts diagrams and still sell parts for the 6522.

Just be warned...Honda parts are sky high.

If you need specific info on the hydraulic system, I can copy some of the pages for you.
Just contact me at 904 287 9515
