I have an old Bolens G274 and the 4-wheel drive stopped working recently. Just looking to see if anyone has had this problem or any thoughts as to why it may have stopped.
Thanks :)

Start with the control. Does it pop back into 2, or is it detached somewhere along its path? ....

The level slides the gear into the 4x4 position but it remains in the 2-wheel drive mode. If seems to be detached somewhere along the path. Do you know if there is some kind of shear pin along the path to the front axle? ....

Thanks for your input...I took apart the from drive shaft cover and found that a couplers snap ring had move and the coupler had slipped off the from axile spline. I put it back together and all is great. Once again I appreciate you taking time to try and help me.
Have a nice day. ....
