Someone is selling a 1987 Ford 1510 with a bunch of accessories. They don't include a loader though. It's a 3 cyl 19.5 HP diesel. Did this model ever come with a loader and might it be possible to fit it with one now?

I believe all those small Ford's (Yanmars actually I believe they are) had optional loaders available.

I'm sure any small CUT size loader could be easily adapted to fit. How usefull a FEL is on a machine that small and light is another story.

If you are able to inspect the machine in person, just look for flat spots with threaded holes (they may have dust plugs in them) on both sides at the front and rear of the engine down near the bottom, or on the front of the trans. case.

I don't think I recall ever seeing a machine that didn't have the mounting bosses for a loader.

Best of luck. ....

You can still get an aftermarket loader for them like a Woods or Bushhog. ....
