I am looking for a tractor the size of an 8N Ford. I spoke to a man who has a Satoh S-650G for sale. He wants $2500 for it. It is a 74 model and is 25 HP. It has new tires and he says it runs great. He is the original owner. Is $2500 too much for this tractor. It has about 700 hours on it he said.

A 74 with 700 hours? Could be, but a typical hobby user adds around 100 hrs/yr, commercial user much more. ....
