Massey Ferguson 1635 3pt hitch will not lift

I have a 1635 Massey Ferguson, and today I can't get the 3pt hitch to lift. It worked fine (I have had the tractor for about 6 months) up until today. I am looking for an answer to this problem.

I'd say the three most likely causes of a sudden 3 pth lift failure would be;

First, and most common, is that the descent rate control knob under the seat has been turned to the totally closed position.

Second, some other hydraulic function, like a remote or loader function, has innadvertantly been activated and is robbing power by causing the relief valve to be open.

Finally, there is the possibility that linkage has come loose and is just not moving the valve inside the tractor.

Are other hydraulic functions affected also? With problems like this more information equals better answers.

I didn't receive a manual for this tractor, and would like to see an inside picture of the hydraulic system. ....
