MF 65 carb

MF 65, Continental G176 engine, Fresh rebuild. I have gas to the carb, wont start unless I squirt gas into throat of carb, then it runs afew seconds and dies. Have had carb apart, cleaned with carb cleaner and blown out. No apparent problems found. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Never mind, I discovered the main jet on bottom of carb was screwed in tight, not allowing any gas in. ....
