7 acres of leaves to pickup. Looking for a PTO powered leaf collector that does not require a belly mount mower connection. I have a PTO finish mower and will first grind and mulch leaves.

Then I want to connect a trailer with a PTO powered vacuum discharging into the trailer storage box. The vacuum inlet bar will pass close to the leaves and suck them up as I drive along.

I don't have a belly mount to connect to a Trav-Vac trailer storage box.

Who makes such equipment? Any experience to tell?

Thanks, Jack

Jack you might want to look at the Goosen line at www.Deweze.com they have been building vacuums like what you described. I couldn't find what size tractor you have in your Bio to work from to know if you could pull one. ....

Thanks for the suggestion, Art. The PTO powered machine TV-60H does a fair job on leaves the man said, especially when the leaves are dry and britle. $23,000! I just turned up a Tuff-Vac from AgriMetal:
http://www.agrimetal.com/eng/products_tuffvac.htm
# 4000, engine self powered, 4 yd. cap. $15,900
# 4000, 30 HP PTO powered, 4 yd. Cap. $14000
# 5000, 40 HP PTO powered, 5 yd. cap. $15,400

I guess I'm looking for something a little less expensive.

Jack ....

I have some good pics of my vac/bagger on my wedsite that maybe you could get some ideas from. Mine goes to a MMM, but maybe you could fab some type of nozzle on the front/middle/back of your tractor to attach the vac hose to? I don't know what you have for a tractor, but this is alot less than $23,000, wow. ....
