 Pulled the trigger II

To quote another member of the board"I've pulled the trigger".Today I bough a Kubota B7500HSD with a 60"belly mower and a 50"tiller.I paid $13,400 with taxes, that was $200 more than the lowest quote but it was on the dealer wich I reffered to on an earlier post.I think by far I'll get better service from them in the long run, they have been very helpfull.I dont know how that price compares out there but around here it was very competitive, perhaps I cuold have done better,I don't know, any comments on prices will be welcomed, don't worry about hurting my feelings the deed is done now I just like to see how the market is out there.I should get delivery on Friday and I can't wait.Just to put it in perspective I read all the sites that I found, talked to everybody that would listen and put about 500miles on the old Chevy truck(with no problem) visiting an almost umbearable number of dealers.I'll like to thank everybody on the board because by reading your postings I learned a lot and saved alot of time and leg work.I really fool some of the dealers, they actually tought that I knew what I was talking about.Again thanks and I'll keep you posted.

HecticBlasts,My dealers no haggle price for the B7500 is $10600 without the implements, so 3K for a belly and a tiller sounds pretty good to me. Kubota used to call the B7500 a B2100 last year and the price was over $11500 for the Tractor alone so I think you did well.

Congratulations on your purchase. I am curious what made you decide on the B7500 over the JD4100. I've been following your posts. I am trying to make the same decision. I am considering either a B7500 or JD4100, and also am looking at B2710 (although I think this might be overkill for my situation). Was it mainly price? Features? Dealer?
Thanks
Brad Dionne

 Pulled the trigger II

Brad Dionne,I did a lot of research,it took me several months.Like I said on the prior posting I talked to a lot of people, most of them have been working tractors all their lives.Very many of them have bigger tractors and were very loyal to their brand but all agreed that if they were on the market for a compact they would look at Kubota real hard.Everybody refered to them as dependable, they knew somebody who had one and were real pleased, etc.I also liked the fact that Kubota makes all of the components on the tractor themselves. The tractor seems very solid to me and it's probably overkill right now but later down the road I'll be happy I got the bigger tractor.I also looked at the BX models but tought than in a few years would probably had to replace it with something a little bigger. After I drove the B7500 I never looked again at the JD4100,I liked it better or it felt better,if you will. The dealer made a big difference also,he was very attentive, spent all the time with me that I needed and did not pushed for any specific model,I drove them all,he's also a NH dealer so you know I spent a lot of time there.I quized him with a few questions and expectecions that me as a customer will want from my dealer and he was right on time on everything.I expect to keep my tractor for a long time so there will be plenty of time if I choose the right dealer but at this time I have no reason whatsoever to doubt the man.For now I just have to wait until Monday to get delivrey of the tractor and enjoy.I hope I was of any help to you, feel free to ask again if you want me to elaborate more on the topic. PS.You can never go wrong with a tractor that's painted CHEVY orange.
