If you reach breakout force with a B2630 tractor, BH75 backhoe will there be any release of hydralic fluid. I am noticing discharge near the left swing cylinder of the backhoe and the dip stick reading is low.

the tractor is brand new with 5 hrs use. checked the fittings which all seem tight. I take it there should be no dischnage of hydralic fluid period. ....

You are correct, no discharge. You may need to tighten them, but be careful or get the dealer to look at it. ....

The fluid level in the reservoir can change significantly depending the position of the accessory. Like when a loader is fully up, or backhoe dipper stick is down, bucket crowded or tucked---all these use large amounts of fluid---which can be deceptive when you check the fluid. Most owner's manuals I've seen aren't that helpful when it comes to this, so you have to be educated about your accessories to know what position works best to get a true dependable reading. Don't do what I did when I first got my backhoe loader: the fluid level was low with all the accessories in one particular--but critical, it turned out--position. I thought it would be okay, but when I raised this, or extend that, and drove uphill a ways---that combination sucked the reservoir dry and ruined the pumps in a matter of a few seconds. DOH! And overfilling isn't good either since that can blow a breather vent or the filler or both. In this case "if a little is good, a lot is better" doesn't apply. ....

If the level was at the full level now then it might have been over filled when assembled and come out a vent. If it is low then it is very important to find when it is leaking and where. The dealer will be fixing it, but to know where the leak is and what to expect helps! ....
