Looking at this model w/ enclosed cab for my new farm/landscape venture for 22 acres.

Minus implements, getting prices around 26-27k. Does this sound about right?

Figure I can compare implement prices separately.

Thanks.

correct that....
Grand L30 w/cab, R4 tires 24,300

Implements:
Loader w/ standard bucket 4750
72" tiller 1500
Finising mower 72" RTH 720 1750
Rotary Cutter Bush Hog 286 1700
Box scraper 525

Total = ~$34000
Does this seem about right?
I have 22 acres of pasture (just got). Will be gardening... landscaping...dabbling in livestock...will be putting permanent house there in a few years. Local guy will cut hay off. For the relatively little price for the 5030 from the 4630 and getting the HST transmission....and significantly more lifting capacity.. thought this was the best bet.

Fram what I see, I'd jump on this and in no time.. 34K for all that? The K dealer near me wants more than 34 for a 5030 cab, loader and nothing else..

That is one SWEET machine! Make sure you get some pictures and post them when you close the deal. Good luck on the purchase! Sounds like a very reasonable price.

Anyone have some input on helping me decide between either the Kubota 3830 w/ 723 FEL or the 4630/ 5030 with FEL R4 etc. How much dif will I see for moving dirt, brush hog (6ft) box blading etc... It's a mere 3,000 even dif for the 4630 over the 3830. I drove both around the yard, but without being able to work with them both for a couple hours use on site I can't make up my mind. The $ is not too much of a deal, but they both seem very similar except for paper specs etc..Opinions ? Aloha, David.

Count on needing ballast weight on the rear for any real FEL work on these light tractors. The L5030 is not much heavier than the other models under it and to my surprise must have the ballast to avoid standing on its nose. Otherwise I am quite pleased with this tractor. I have the 832 loader.

Muletrain is right, they all seem pretty powerful for their weight. I filled the tires with water and it balances the loader well with dirt/gravel loads, however I have not filled it with broken-up concrete (a job we start next week.)

My guess is you will be happy any of these units if a '6 bush hog is all that is on your pto. I would suggest getting a unit that can handle the 832 FEL, an incredible loader for a compact tractor.

Good Luck.

KRAZFM, I too have a concrete job in my sumer plans. I have 15 hours on my 5030, and most has been spent in moving hay bales, 1500#. A local builder has dumped 15 loads of driveway and parking lot concrete for me to build up a broken creek bank. I figure this will be the real test for the 5030+832. The A/C cab will come in handy for Okla in Sept. mule
