I think I'm going in shock! A local dealer just quoted a price of $25,000 for a 1998 b-21 w/600 aprox.hr. It has a (tilt kit?) for a box scraper($2,OOO)? I can't find a hole lot else here in S. AZ. They seem to be all over E. of the Mississippi or up in Tacoma, WA. for around $16,000 to $20,000 used. Any suggestions? Who has something nice out there that will set me up at a fair $? Thanks Todd

Wow... you can get a 40+ HP good Korean tractor with loader for quite a bit less than that. Is it gold plated. A green one would even be cheaper than that.

check out carver equipment in N.C. they have 2 used ones one for 18,000 and one for 20,000 the cheaper one has only 201 hours on it and their shipping would be reasonable or a lot cheaper than your local dealer ....

I rechecked carver equip.com and the 20,000 tractor is a 2001 model with 99 hours on it and the 18,750 tractor is a 2000 with 201 hours on it. when i was looking for my tractor they gave me a shipping price to Oregon of 1000 or so maybe if you showed your local dealer this info he would come down to a reasonable price on the one in AZ. Even if you had it shipped from N.C. you could save a lot. ....

I may be confusing the issue here guys...my apologies. If memory serves me right, a B21 is the newer version of the B20TLB. That being said, I know of a reasonably good shape B20TLB for about $14.5k.

Remember the B21 is a construction tractor. John Deere, New Holland do not have a comparable machine.

userid - There are 4-B21's at a local dealer, rental returns. He sold the rental place 4310's I think, he's a JD dealer and a good tractor guy. I saw a couple of price tags of $12,950, w/ between 1200 and 2500 hrs. Lots of paint missing and a bit loose in the joints but I bet they work OK.
Why do you think there are a lot in the Tacoma,Wa. area?

Ken,
I apologize for getting back so late on this thread...I lost it in the system, until now.
Actually I had seen an older B20 (virtually the same as a B21 just older brother) at a lot. Used but still in very good shape mechanically as well as cosmetically. The price was around $14k. If you are still contemplating, I can run by and see if it is still available.

Ken,
The orange is no longer available...probably sold off. However, take a gander at eBay, item numbers 3803164977, and item number 3803174057. The first is a 1999 B21 TLB. Don't know about the second one, though looks to be about the same age or newer. Maybe one of these will "fit".

2footroper - comparing a Kioti against a Kubota TLB is almost funny. Infact, comparing just about anything against the built of a TLB is funny. You can't always by tractors by the numbers, The Kubota loader landscapers are proof of that. They don't out rate even their own line, yet they are built to take abuse like nothing else. Heck you can stand on the hood and not dent it! ....
