I am going to trade in a bx2200 with a 60" cutting deck and 70 hrs on it for a b7500 with a 60" cutting deck. What would be a fair price on the trade in ?

Have you tried to sell it out right? If not, your moste likely going to taking a beating (20% less) than what you paid for it. One of the biggest problems in trading a machine that new is the next person must find it significantly discounted or will purchase new and on top of that, they either have to pay cash or get terms much higher, ie., 8-9% interest as opposed to the current low interest. I just purchase a rotor tiller off a guy and he is trying to sell a B7500 (machine only) with 54 hours and I believe he said he would take 9K. ....

I had a guy offer to sell his BX2200 to me for $8500. This included 60"MMM, 48" Gear Driven 3pt Tiller, and he had an additional 60" Rear Mower to throw in that was nearly new. I think you will need to be in the 7500-8500 range. There is a local dealer selling his last BX2200 with 60" MMM for 9500 brand new. ....

My question is WHY?? The BX is a much better grass cutter than the B7500. The biggest physical difference between the two is the ground clearance. IMHO In those configurations I'd save my money and stay with the BX.

On mowing with the two different units the BX is a suspended deck and the 7500 is a ground engaging deck. The ground engaging decks often have trouble with wet conditions. ....
