I have a CK20 with only 24 hours on it. I went to attach an impliment to the 3 point and all I did was move the control lever a little and the lift arms went up and stayed up. I can't get them back down. Played with the lowering speed knob to no avail. Anyone out there have the same problem? Will go back to dealer for service next week but thought I'd try here first.
Thanks, ED

It might be a linkage adjustment problem. Adjustment procedures usually aren't in owner's manuals, but they aren't too complicated. Maybe the dealer service manager describe the procedure, which might get you going until the scheduled service. ....

Have you tried moving the lever to the down position and push them down by hand?
Many times new stuff is stiff. These are usually gravity operated and just need a little push.
Good Luck ....

Mine are the smae way. I agree with harvey, I have one of the kids push the arms down while holding the 3-point control in the down position. The weight of the arms alone isn't enough to get them to lower.
If that doesn't work, take advantage of that dealer visit. ....

Gravity is not enough. Get some weight on them. I still have to stand on mine after 88 hours. ....

The arms are definitely jammed in the up position! The tractor has been sitting for two days now and that should have relieved all the hydraulic pressure and in the past the arms would drift to the lowered position. I'll let you know what the service shop finds out! ....

My CK-20 was just returned TODAY after 3 weeks+ in the shop. There were steel chips that got into the control valve spool and tore up the bore and jammed the valve. It was repaired under warranty but the valve took three weeks to get to the dealer. All is OK now but the power steering is very stiff. The hydraulic oil might be low and I'll have to check that tomorrow! ....
