I have a JD 4100 gear that I bought new approx. 3 years ago. I am trying to estimate how much it weighs. Also, any advise on an affordable trailer to move it around would be apprciated.
The 4100 has turf tires that are "loaded" as well as the matching 410 loader. Thanks !

The 4100 Gear is 1517 pounds according to Deere, They don't publish the loader weight but I think it goes about 450#. Your loaded turfs are going to weigh at least 200# each, my 245/75-16's weighed 185# loaded. So you are looking at 2300-2400 pounds plus whatever 3pt implements you have.
A 16 foot, two axle trailer will handle it with ease, even if the trailer GVW is 5000#. It will fit on a 14 foot trailer but 14 foot is a special order and is not cheaper that a 16 foot.
Pay close attention to the ramps, and make sure you get brakes on all four trailer wheels.
Sometimes the low price "loss leader" model will only have one set of brakes and the ramps will have large air spaces that your front wheels will fall through. ....
