I replaced the hood on my 4400 compact tractor and am having trouble attaching the new fuel door. I received a new door, 2 springs, and 1 clip. I have no idea how the door is assembled and attached to the hood. Does anybody have a picture of the new style door and attachment they can post? How about a good writen description? The fuel door should(?) be similar to other 4000 models.

There's Deere dealers all over, so maybe you could have a look at a similar one on a lot. Or get to look at a parts manual. ....

I googled your hood and one site said Deere changed the hood and door including the springs and that you must use the parts that come with the new hood. ....
