I am ready to buy either a John Deere 790 or a Kubota L2500. These tractors are nearly identical in price, features and horsepower. Anyone have any comments as to something I might have overlooked please let me know. By the way both tractors are in the $11,000 range.

If you get the JD 790 with 4WD it has live PTO. I would definitly recommend this for any type of mower. No matter which brand you choose, go for the live PTO if you do any mowing. ....

Do you know if Yanmar manufactures the Deere? I had seen the statement thatthey manufacture all of Deere's smaller (<40 hp) tractors, but I don't know ifthat is true and if it includes the 790. ....

I have looked at both and found the JD easer to get on and off of, it has wider and more open space for the floor. Please let me know what you bought and how you like it. I just bought a JD 790 with loader and rear finish mower and rear blade. It will be delivered on the 19th of April. Steve ....
