Read all the post here and learned alot about my new gator,Thanks to everyone.

Looking for a picture of the brace that goes between the engine and transaxle. I can't seem to locate it on mine. I had read that it is known for breaking the bolts that hold it in place. This is just something else I am checking as I don't even have it running yet. Ignition module should be in Thursday so maybe I'll get it running.

I have never ridden or driven a gator and really looking forward to it. I did find out that it is a 2004 model so the 185 hrs on the clock would be about right.

The brace you are talking about is not on the HPX. It is on the 4x2 single cylinder motor and is bolted to the head. These bolts frequently break off in the head and cause problems. There is also a brace on the 6x4 from the case cover to the transaxle. It will snap the bolt in the cover sometimes, which allows the belt to pull the motor toward the transaxle on acceleration. ....
