The belt was put on back in July if I remember correctly.
We've had a lot of rain here in Louisiana this winter and expecting more tonight and again later this week. The water was in a low area around the edge of a pecan orchard In which I was riding and was about 30 ft across.
I bought this machine used to spray mosquitoes in yards during the summer months and it works well for this. Excellent payload capacity and large cargo box. With it being the HPX model I thought it might be geared a bit more toward a hunting vehicle also but it looks like I'll need a second side by side for this.

It sounds like a lot of hours for a machine to me. Mine is a HPX 4x4 with 206 hrs. My dealer told me he thought it was a 2004 model. I have mine up for sale Asking $5500

M9ine is a HPX and does not have chains but does have a new belt on it and today I woas loading it on my trailer to transport and it would stop pulling. I had my rear wheels on the trailer and my front wheels on the loading ramps and had stopped and tried to start again when this happened. I had to pull back off the trailer and get moving in reverse with enough steam to load in one steady run. Shouldn't I have more power than this ?
Makes me think if it were to ever see any mud it would not have power enough to move.

Made the adjustments today and man what a difference. It no longer surges and readily accepts rapid acceleration. The little knobs are fully turned against the stops but it works.

Yeah I do cause now I got a new belt and can't get it on either. The old one was so worn out I just lifted it off the pulley's. The parking brake pads are worn pretty good.

Got my new igniter today and put it on and she cranked right up. Gatoraider knows his stuff.

It does seem to be burning a little oil on the back cylinder but I think I can live with that for a while . It does need new spark plugs in it and NGK BPR2ES is what is in it. I went to a parts store and asked for CJ14's and they gave me Champion 5861 and they aren't as long. Should I use them anyway or what plugs should I get and what should the gap be set on ?

Looking for a picture of the brace that goes between the engine and transaxle. I can't seem to locate it on mine. I had read that it is known for breaking the bolts that hold it in place. This is just something else I am checking as I don't even have it running yet. Ignition module should be in Thursday so maybe I'll get it running.<br>

I have never ridden or driven a gator and really looking forward to it. I did find out that it is a 2004 model so the 185 hrs on the clock would be about right.
