Go Bottomignition malfunction on 790 diesel

just joined today and in need of help. did not start tractor in couple months and battery was dead so I charged battery and got it started then when I turned key to shut it down it would not stop running. if anybody has any ideas on where to begin I would sure appreciate it. Thanks
