Rotella T vs Ambra

Couldn't find the Ambra so I used the Rotella T 30 in my TC45 for this oil change. According to the manual the SAE30 is okay for we rarely see temps cooler than 30degrees here in Houston. What do you guys think? Thanks for your input.

If the manual allows, my preference would be for the Rotella T 5W-40 synthetic or the standard Rotella 15W-40. I think 30W oil is just too thin for a diesel engine except in very cold climates. ....
