Greetings,
I am located in Hawaii, and am looking to ship a 4' PTO rotary cutter over here. I have been looking through the various brands, and at that size they seem to be pretty identical. ie Howse or Woods, same weight, HP rating etc.
I am looking for a dealer that would deliver something of this type to a West Coast port (LA, SF, Portland, Sea) where the freight forwarder would put it on the boat. A little extra footwork.
I talked to the local dealers here, and what they were offering was far too marked up. I can do better I think. (Would consider used as well.)
Any suggestions from out there ?
Thanks

They are certainly not ALL the same. In HI you will definitely need a rust and corrosion resistant cutter. This model comes with a 7 gauge deck and the entire cutter is hot zinc dipped for rust and corrosion protection. ....

Now there is something different. I've not seen that before. Yes, corrosion is a factor here, but then I don't leave anything outside in the rain either, (and am quick with the paint brush.)
Thanks, I'll see what they have to say. ....
