I got a Vesrah filter for my quad from an ATV shop and it looks shorter than the one on there. Also can't find my manual. I have seen in other forums that guys are using W0-40. Is this right? I cannot find it at the parts house.

0W-40 is a good cold weather oil and all season for that matter. Not sure what you manual calls for but I do think it would be an issue to use this oil. ....
