Yes it has been stored under the eave of a building -- and when it is not, it is right out in the elements. I did not notice the fluid being cloudy, but I will run it over the next day or two and see what it looks like when it is warm.

Or maybe the loader is just not powerful enough and I should put a down payment on the L3400 I cannot justify buying...

Mowing season may be a month away, but I'm thinking about it. Last year I mowed all season with my 7510 and 5' rear mower and always left the FEL on. There are some hills on my property, some that are steep enough that I am not comfortable driving across, so I go up and down. My question, am I more or less stable with the FEL on? I always keep it low to the ground to help my center of gravity.<br>

What do people think -- take it off to mow or leave it on? I am not worried about the weight of the tractor on the lawn and do not have to worry about manuvering around obstacles as the property is wide open.<br>

The plan is to have someone come and haul the manure away. I have compost piles elsewhere on the property, but I cannot use as much manure as the horses produce!

$I am obviously not a mechanic, but am pleased with myself in that my first guess as to what was wrong was a fuse. I learned that blown fuses are not always obvious -- and I agree, a tester would have put me back on the tractor weeks ago! The guy who fixed it (at no charge!) isa coming back later today to do the 100 hour service -- this I can do myself, but I figure to maintain a good relationship with a mechanic who will make a house call is worth the money it will cost to do the service (which is a fraction of what a dealer will charge!). When he comes back I will pick his brain as to what caused the fuse to blow in the first place. Thanks again, all -- the tips from this one question alone was worth the $20 membership fee!$ 7510 won t turn over
