Don't be so quick to judge Kubota, since they didn't make these models for use in the US in the first place. They have an outstanding reputation for supporting their made-for-US tractors. See the link below for a quick overview of the grey market tractor issue.

According to THE BOOK (highly recommended, see below), that tractor is worth from $2910 in fair condition to $3910 in premium shape. You'll have to decide how much the tiller is worth.

According to the 1999 GUIDE (see below), the tractor is worth between $7790 and $8580, depending on condition. Probably the mower adds $500 or so to the value.

I have a "Sunshine" mower manufactured by Modern Mfg. of Beaumont, TX. I'd classify this as a very light duty cutter. After a year of use, the box itself started to come apart at the seams and a local welding shop had to stitch it back together and reinforce it for me. It's lasted for 5 years now, but it was a major rebuild. If I had it to do over again, I'd try to find a heavier-duty unit.

My 1998 copy of The Book (see below) says the B7100 is worth anywhere from $7,000 for a 1992 model in fair condition to $9,320 for a 1998 model in premium condition. Add about $300 for the belly mower, but the price you get will depend a lot on how popular these tractors are in your area.

Firestone has some interesting info on their web site about hydroinflation of agricultural tires. See the following three pages for details:

The Firestone site has lots of other useful tire info (inflation pressures, load ranges, anti-hop tips, etc.), but it seems with each revision to the site the useful info gets harder to find.

Can't help you with the tube/tubeless controversy. On my dealer's advice, I've had my Kubota tubeless rears filled with calcium chloride solution for 6 years with no problems so far.

According to last year's THE BOOK (see below) that'd be a 1983 model (they started calling them 336-2 or -4 in 1984, to designate 2- or 4-wheel drive). Est. value of the tractor is $5980/$6440/$7150 in fair/good/premium condition. I'd estimate $2500-3000 on the value of the backhoe, but it depends a lot on the market.

WARNING: Don't wear seat belt without ROPS. Unless your tractor has a roll bar, wearing a seat belt will prevent you from escaping a rollover. I doubt there are many tractors out there with seat belts and no ROPS, but just in case...
