In my area there is only one small Massey Fergusen Dealer within 50 miles of me, what he has seems good. But he is so small it makes me nervous just one or two tractors in stock and no other dealers nearby.<br>There are several Deere, New Holland and Kubota Dealers within 25 miles, that's why you hear more about them, not that they are all that much better.<br>If you like it buy particularly if you already know the dealer

Attempting to sell 1969 Bolens 1556 Huskey garden tractor with rototiller,lawn vaccum system, and snow plow. All original and working but some parts need replacing. Is there any value to collectors for something like this? Does a fantastic job as a mower but not easy to work on, find parts for, or change attactments. What is the value range of this unit? That is an interesting observation that I've seen posted here and elsewhere in various forms. My dad used to use a rule of thumb that followed along the lines of getting the next bigger model than you think you'll need as you will eventually need the bigger power/weight, etc. That simple rule also help keeps you from getting something way too big either. <br>I believe that having an

We have a 1925 Boomer. We have done alot with it. Usually mowing with a 6 foot fininshing or 5 foot bushhog. We run a old 14T deere baler with it fine. We also plowed about 30 hours with a 2 bottom plow. We have 4WD, hydro, with turf tires. After a pretty hard life we've had the following problems:<br>1. Key breaks off, (3 times), dealer came up with a free replacement thats heavier built, so its OK now.<br>2. Had a hydro hose cooler leak. That was very messy, and I think the factory was at fault.<br>3. The fuel stop cable broke. When its below freezing its really hard to use. I believe the newer units are electronic now. I was surprised how well I like hydro. It really make you a faste loader operator. This is our first diesel with glow plugs. This thing started at 10 degrees with NO heat. Does'nt seem right to start a diesel without ether but I'm getting used to it.<br>Dennis

Fred,<br>I think your theory is correct. I just got an e-mail from them telling me that they didn't have any test data on my 30hp Kioti ('took them 11 days to get back to me. dang!). Before I asked them, I found a Nebraska dealer that carries Kiotis. Compacts must be exempted.<br>Lee

I can't give specific information on the MT372D other than to say I've owned a S370D for the last 17 years. Other than busting up the front axle and CV joint it has been excellent. Mine is 15HP 2cyl. Is yours 3cyl? If you are looking for sheet metal parts, a yard in Texas has just parted out one like mine. Sheet metal may fit.<br>What are your other tractors? By the way, I'm also in MN.

Does anyone have experience with a Honda H6522 Compact tractor? What about backhoes on these small machines? Are they strong enough? Is the backhoe practical? or would it just scratch the ground. I would like to dig in soft sand ( a spade sinks to the top if stepped on ) I'm in the market for one but it needs to be small enough to float across a lake on a barge to a remote cottage site. Backhoe attachment important. Have had experience with older borrowed Yanmar and liked it but have never seen another advertized. <br>This message moved from the machinery chat page. The power beyond kit provides hydraulics for operating implements that have their own open center control valve such as a log splitter. If you just need rear hydraulic couplers that you will operate with the control valve on the tractor a separate kit is available to route the hydraulics to the rear.
