I have a TC33D bought new 2 years ago, now with 160 hours. I do a lot of forward and reverse when mowing, and I've noticed lately that it seems to jerk slightly when starting up from a dead stop in either direction. In other words, no matter how slowly and carefully I push on the hydro pedal, the initial movement of the tractor is a jerk or lurch as it begins to move. I'm fairly sure it didn't act like this when it was new, and was much smoother.
Anyone else notice this? Is there a fix? Something that can be adjusted?
Thanks,
Tom

I am assuming that your fluid is at the proper level and has no water in it? Not being a bota guy that is all I can offer.

Slow, a TC is Blue, not Orange.
Tom, it sounds like a linkage thing, the valve is probably not opening smoothly and proportionately, it is all of a sudden jumping open, casue the machine to lurch. Look for a bent piece of linkage or some debris in the linkage.
A little grease on all the pivot joints wouldn't hurt either while you're down there poking about.
If that's not it talk to the service dept. at your dealer, they are usually to suggest a few things to try before sending it in for a look-see by their mechanics.
Best of luck. ....

I came across a factory recall advisory on this problem not to long ago... You need to talk to you dealer... If i remember right it had something to do with a linkage fix.. simple and painless... Your tractor, for what you paid out for it should be smooth off the start no mater how many times you have driven forward and backwards for years to come... ....
