Greetings and thanks to everyone who maintains and contributes to this forum. I appreciate the information available here. I just bought a 2002 TC45 w/16LA FEL, ATI heavy duty quick attach bucket, folding ROPS, deluxe 3 pt. hitch, 14.9x24 ag tires (loaded w/ magnesium), with 51 hrs. from a Kubota dealer.I also got a new set of ATI 48" pallet forks and paid $20,500 for the package. I know that I paid enough for what I got, but can't help but wonder just how much less I SHOULD have been able to purchase this package for. I never owned a compact before, but once I tried it out I came down with a bad case of "GOTTAHAVIT!!" Incidently, I tried to find out why the original purchaser traded it in for a Kubota with so few hours on it. It seems he was trying to buy a backhoe attachment for it and couldn't get the deal he insisted on, so decided to teach the NH dealer a lesson and went totally orange!
Any comments on the price would be appreciated. (Please be as gentle as possible...)
BTW- I am so far VERY impressed with the performance (tractor AND loader). Thanks!

I forgot to add that this tractor also has 2 hydraulic remotes.
I know that is a price addition, but not sure how much. ....

There are a few known minor problems with the class III Boomers. One could ( but shouldn't) have been the reason for the trade. Biggest is a thermostat issue that doesn't allow the engine to come up to temp. Some, under a certain set of circumstances, have had a problem with the fan hitting the cooling shroud. The others that I know about are bad welds on the hydro pedals and fogging of the instruments. All minor issues and all taken care of under warranty.

The majority of the people who own them love them and are amazed at the work they do. I would expect the average retail (sell price) around the country to be about $25K - $26K for your package. To cut to the chase, you stole it!!

Should you have any second thoughts, I'll be at your place this weekend and take it off your hands for what you paid for it - strictly as a favor to a fellow Tractorpoint member you understand!!

Seriously good luck, I envy you!

I think that you got a good price. I would not say that you stole it. I bought a brand new TC45 with all of the attachments that you mention and a 758C backhoe and 7ft rear blade for about 29K last September and got 0% financing.

I really like the quick attach bucket and pallet forks. That option was really worth the extra money spent.

I have to wonder how much of a lesson that the NH dealer really learned. I expect that the former TC45 owner did not make out very well.

I hope that you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. Good Luck. BTW, mine does not have fan or thermostat problems, but it is good to be on the lookout. ....
