I am interested in buying the TC35 New Holland Boomer Series Tractors. I noticed in the specs that the
Mechanical Transmission of 12/12 that the PTO is independent. Does anyone own the TC35 ??? One dealer tells
me that it has a dual stage clutch, another tells me it
has a hydrolic clutch and the PTO is independent. By reading this spec to me it should have a seperate clutch. I found one dealer in Maine that had one on the lot and said it was indeed a hydrolic clutch. I just wanted to get some info from someone who actually owns one. My buddy has a TN55 that has a handle to turn on the PTO and was wondering if it was similiar to this model.
Thanks,
Carlo

According to the NH TC35 spec sheet the TC 35 and TC35D have independant PTOs or you pull the switch and the PTO comes on like the TN55.
I think the other question that you need to ask, those in the know is does the TC35 have enough power. There has been some comments that the TC40 is the better choice as far as power to size match. Do you have a lot of hills? ....

I own a TC40D. The D comes with a hydrostatic clutch and the TC 40 has the 12 speed. As a neophyte I love the hydrostatic clutch. THe PTO is operated seperatley. ....

I have small hills on my property. I did notice the comments that it is underpowered. It is a heavy unit
3000lbs. I will be bush hogging and box blading and disking so I think it may work for me.
Thanks,
Carlo ....
