Hello,
I am looking at TC 40D & TC 45D tractors with front end loaders. I would like to have 2 additional remotes added at the rear of the tractor. I am planning to purchase a Brush Hog to go on this tractor. I have 4 questions??
1) What is a good price for this tractor & loader with the remotes?
2) How much additional should I pay for the Brush Hog?
3) I am eligible for Fords X Plan pricing. Is there something like this for tractors?
4) Are there any rebates going on that you know of?

Thanks

1) I have only looked at the TC-45 and this was a year ago. The price I had was near 17K and around 20.5 K with the FEL.
2) It depends on whether you want BushHog or another manufacturer. It also depends on what you want to cut with the equipment. The low end for a 6ft rotary cutter is about 550$ and you can go up from there. I have a 7ft which needs 55 PTO hp so I think about 6 ft is as large as you can go. My cutter is about 2K for a BushHog 287 (medium duty) the 286 is probably around 1.6K. The heavy duties are more.
3) Someone recently got a very good deal using the FordX plan. I think my comment was could I claim I was a long lost cousin 6 times removed and get in on the plan. Look back on the NH posts.
4)I have not seen any rebates, but low financing has been posted. I doubt you can do better than the FordX from what was posted.

I went out today and priced a few tractors.
The dealer had a used 400 hours TC40D with 16LA FEL, canopy, grill gard, 2 extra hyd outlets at the rear. He said that he was close on the price @ 19,200. He said it was a trade in and it has about 12 months left on the trasmission warenty so it must have been a 1999 model. What do you think?
He also had a TC 45D with a 16LA FEL and quoted me a price of 24,000.

OK I HAVE DECIDED ON THE TC40D..... Now Help me on pricing of the used one above or a new one??????

OK I can play this game but you need to go to the discussion board and then click on the NH price form and all the former post will come up.

Can anyone tell me if a price of $13,200 is in line for a basic TC40 tractor. This tractor is 2wd and is not the D model--also does not have a loader or other attachments. I am looking at this model to keep 30 acres of planted pines mowed and maintained and wonder if this is the best for the money.

SOUND GOOD TO ME I JUST BOUGHT A TC40D WITH SUPER STEER 4WD
1561.OO A PLAN

My calculation is 15610.00 + 3200 is 19K new off the shelf with the A plan. I saw other posts at 19.5K new with FEL for the TC-40D. With 400 hours I would be the 15K range. ....

Thanks Peter,
I appreciate all the help. I guess I still need to check around on the pricing as his does not sound so good.
