My car has a 7 inch LED screen. I just saw an article that said a new 2021 Mercedes is going to have a 56 inch wide panel door to door LED screen.
How big is too big? or is the whole width of the car the end goal?
Reminds me of a post here on the right Tractor size to lot size.

I have to say I like looking at the Led panel dashboard and infotainment panel. The more the merrier.
That said I do think the old radial gauges were pretty reliable, never had to replace one. So time will tell if the panels are long lasting.
I think on the SpaceX rocket they consolidated all the gauges into one panel, so for balst into space it works, so not to worry in your car :-) ....

I must say, when my missus saw the 17" screen in my Tesla the first time she was very shocked at it's size. I like it.
Mind you, I also plow my driveway with a New Holland TV140 with a 12' plow in place of the bucket. Turning it around is easy, it's articulated!! LOL
