Go BottomCX Seat Coming Apart

2005 Gator CX, the top of the seat shell is separating from the hard base.
Has anyone tried to glue them back in place? What did you use?

I have used "GOOP" glue for many things. Its heavy and seems to adhere well. ....

I usually just put a seat cover over the top of my tractor and mower seats when they crack or when feral cats chew the corners. Tractor Supply sells a generic model that "kinda fits all". It has an elastic cord around the bottom to hold it in place. Seat cover is a medium gray fabric color. Think it sells for about $25.00. I've covered 3 so far. Lowes sells a similar product for John Deere's with yellow color cushion for about 1 1/2 times the price. ....
