If its the seat safety sensor is bad would the dash lights come on when the key is tunred? I asssume the battery is ok as the hazzards, blinkers and headlights work. Any help would be appreciated. I am a total novice and non-technical type

Thanks in advance,
Rob

If your 4310 has the HST transmission, there are potentiometers below the pedals. to determine if you are in "neutral" so you can start the tractor...you could try jiggling your forward and back pedals ....

Thanks for response.

Forward and reverse are controlled by a lever that comes off of the left side of the steering column. Should I try jiggling that? would that affect the pontentiometers?

thanks ....
