Just bought a Shibaura 2 cylinder, 4WD, tractor ($600). By comparing the one image of a 14 I found on the web I am pretty sure it is a match but not certain. Seeking any and all info on it e.g., are parts available (where), are Yanmar or Ford parts interchangeable, Years of production, etc. Just wanted something to tinker with. It sputters but hasn't cranked as yet. As I get around to scouring it for a SN and any other Identifiers I will post same with pics. Data plate: (top-bottom) SD1400A-O, 11783, LE0752B, 14623, 14PS, 2500 RPM. Has casting numbers on left and right side as well. Only other thing I observed was a grill emblem, a stylized "S" and the word "DELUXE". Thanks in advance for you time and consideration

It is a SD1400. there are probably some common parts with Ford, but not a lot. I could only tell by comparing part #s. I can supply available parts & have a SD1400 parts tractor at Sheaffer's Town & Country Tractors inc ....
