2000 tc 40 frontend clunk

I here a clunking in the frontend of my tc40 so I stopped to check it out when I took off again the front tire was kinda locked up but heard a pop. so I headed for the garage very slow the clunk got worse any ideas.thanks

Is it four wheel drive? Sounds like you may have a broken gear. kt ....
