I just bought a Agracat 2920. The PTO is not working which I new when I bought it. What I want to know is if I pull the top of where the linkage and Fork are at to fix it. Does the oil need to be drained out or can it be fixed as is?

Before you start tearing things apart, it's important to determine WHY it's not working. This tractor has a two-stage clutch, 1/2 of which powers the PTO. So you could have a clutch adjustment problem. There's also two external levers that could be at fault; one is Engage/Disengage, the other is speed control. Either of them could be (a) in the wrong position, (b) have a broken roll pin.

So before you venture into major surgery territory, start the process of elimination on the outside.

Thanks, But had checked that. Took it apart and found the pin that holds the fork that engages the pto has broke. Can not find drain plug for the oil. Would like to wash it out good with diesel fuel. Is there one? ....

There lots of drain plugs on your tractor. Please be more specific as to what it is you want to drain.
